WE FOCUS ON SMALL GROUPS OF “INDIVIDUALS”, NOT LARGE GROUPS OF PEOPLE….

Your “Personal CrossFit Training center” ..Never a class with more than 10 Athletes.

CrossFit-PHIT is Marysville’s 1st officially licensed CrossFit Affiliate. Founded in 2012. We are a natural branch of PHIT Personal Training and Performance center, Which was established in Marysville in 2008. So you can say, we’ve been around alot longer than most.
Our staff of experts are all Marysville community residents. We are the #1 Physician referred training facility in Union County. And we have won “The Best of Marysville” award for 2015 and 2016.
We are a culmination of over 50 years of combined Personal Training, Strength and Conditioning, as well as specialized Athletic performance development. There is no other facility in the Central Columbus area with a more experienced staff of experts.
As a matter of FACT, there are currently 2 other CrossFit establishments in the Marysville area, and the owners of both of those establishments were former students / Clients of PHIT. Because we are rooted in “Personal Training” we maintain all of our class sizes at a “manageable” Coach-to-Athlete ratio. This structure develops correct, safe therefore effective results. Nobody can “hide” in our group classes as in classes where 15-20 athletes are all trying to workout at the same time. All of our workouts are programmed “In House” which means we don’t Find another CrossFit Box’s workout on the internet and implement it. Any one can do that! Our WOD’s are programmed meticulously. Not for the sake of “looking” unique, but with a constant progressive approach. Our staff have been designing specialized workout programs for over 20 years and that knowledge is inherent in each and every one of our CrossFit WODS. This allows us to have a better understanding of how to work closely with our customers individually if need be. Obtaining a CrossFit certification is as easy as taking a weekend course, and receiving a certificate. Don’t be fooled by just any trainer who as accomplished this, as this is not the “Gold Standard” by which we choose our Trainers. Our trainers are also required to carry current CPR certifications, and be subjected to thorough background investigations. Most CrossFit “Boxes” dont require these credentials. You and/or your loved one will be in good, safe, professional hands. Our Trainers and Coaches go through years of internal development, consisting of a process that puts as much (or more) emphasis on Quality of Coaching, and Passion in each athletes personal development. Come Join us in your next workout and experience what separates us from your typical “Fitness” routine.

How Do I Find The Best CrossFit Gym?
How do I Find the Best CrossFit Gym for Me?
There are currently 7,000 CrossFit affiliates around the world, with others opening every day. This is good news for those of us passionate about improving our fitness, and being part of a growing, global community. That said, no two CrossFit “boxes” are the same, and it might seem daunting to “select” the one “best” for you.

Keep in mind, CrossFit is not a fitness class. fitness is a component of participating in CrossFit, as it is designed to be a sporting activity. A CrossFit certification means one has been trained to coach/teach CrossFit as a sport. This is extremely different than having a Certification/degree in teaching CORRECT , SAFE exercise.

Joe Kibbey was poised to finish first, but failed his final attempt of 415#, and had to settle for 385# in the 198# weight class. Which was a big personal best.
